PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE

What I do:
I support a commercial production studio on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle shoots, living in that space between the creative deck and the call sheet. I help turn concepts into timelines, checklists, and actual looks on set—making sure talent, wardrobe, and crew all have what they need for the day to run smoothly.

Highlights:

  • Assist with pre-production: organizing wardrobe pulls, confirming samples, preparing call sheets, and helping track deliverables and timelines for each shoot.

  • On set, support the creative director and producers with wardrobe changes, continuity, last-minute fixes, and keeping the schedule moving.

  • Handle post-production wrap: tracking returns, organizing samples, and keeping assets, notes, and documents stored in a way the team can actually find later.

RETAIL & OPERATIONS

What I did:
I worked on the retail floor for a circular fashion concept focused on influencer closet sales and special events. The role mixed customer-facing work with very real back-of-house operations—perfect for learning how pricing, inventory, and experience all connect.

​

Highlights:

  • Helped run high-traffic influencer closet-sale events: preparing the floor, restocking, and supporting customers while keeping the space organized and on-brand.

  • Built and updated pricing/markdown spreadsheets by researching original retail prices and supporting the team with competitive and fair resale pricing.

  • Tagged, steamed, and organized inventory by category and size to improve flow for both staff and customers.

  • Jumped in wherever needed during peak hours—fitting rooms, register support, and general problem-solving to keep the experience smooth.

ACADEMIC SKILLS TUTOR

New York, NY · 2023 - Present

What I do:
Alongside my studies, I tutor FIT students in Spanish and academic skills. I design workshops and work 1:1 with students who need extra support, which has pushed me to explain things clearly, stay patient, and adapt to very different learning styles.

Highlights:

  • ​Support students in beginner Spanish, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and confidence with speaking.

  • Help students prepare for exams, organize their workload, and develop better study habits.

  • Created and lead the OYDL Workshop, teaching students how to use computers more effectively: organizing desktops, setting up Google Calendar, and navigating Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, plus Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and other tools.

  • Work 1:1 with students on academic probation (GPA under 2.0) to create study plans, track progress, and improve their academic performance over the semester.

  • Strengthen communication and leadership skills by working with students from different backgrounds and learning needs.
